Online tools to help your tourism business be more successful

There has never been a better time to be a small business owner. The development of new businesses such as  Fivver and Vistaprint have made expensive and time consuming tasks easy to accomplish. That should leave you more time to market and sell your attraction. Here are some tools I use.

Fivver. This website connects people who are willing to do tasks, or gigs for $5. There is no end to what people are willing to do – and I am amazed at the creative hustle of people around the world. I recently hired two different graphic designers to come up with a logo for The Attractions Coach. com website. Each designer enabled me to have several revisions until I got to designs I liked. Even if I don’t stick with either of them forever, it has helped me develop my brand and feel like I have an official blog/website.

 

 

 

 

Another brilliant online company  appeared once I approved the design. There was a pop up ad from Vistaprint asking if I wanted to put the new logo on some business cards. Talk about a seamless transaction! I could create business cards using very easy to design templates. You can create your own business cards and order 500 for less than $15.00. Business cards are a form of currency in the business world- you don’t ever want to be without them. Vistaprint makes it easy to always have them.

I have used Fivver  entrepreneurs to transfer new contact’s business cards to spreadsheets, help with power points, and find images for newsletters. I think the hardest part is allowing yourself to let someone else do some of your work. As a business owner, you must remember your time is worth a lot of money. Look for some tasks or ideas you need help with, and check out Fivver. Maybe there will be a virtual assistant in your future!
