Top Tourism Trends for 2018 – an early holiday gift

If you are a long time reader of my blog, you know that I published a Top Tourism Trends for 2018 in 2 parts earlier this fall. My goal is to get my list out before the end of the year so you can make some changes to your budgets if you see a trend that you think will impact you.

My gift to you

I know many of you share information with others- whether it is with your boss, or your team, or your partners if you are a DMO. So I combined the two posts into one document and formatted it as a short ebook. Click here and you can download my Top Tourism trends for 2018 document. (Don’t worry, you won’t be added to my mailing list again.)

My hope is that this will be an easy way for you to share information and start discussions. My goal is always to help my readers bring more visitors through their doors and to their destinations.

Any other trends?

Are you seeing any other trends that I haven’t? I would love to hear your thoughts. Put a comment in the end of this post and we can all discuss it. One that I didn’t mention but will be writing about in early 2018 is the trend towards smaller groups. The average group size has droppeAd below 30. That opens up lots of opportunities for attractions that had challenges hosting groups of 50 or more. Are you seeing that trend? Put a comment in the box at the end of the post.

And a favor

One of my goals is to get my reader list to 1000. I am on my way but could use your help! If you know anyone in the industry that could benefit from reading my posts, would you forward them this post and encourage them to sign up?

I would appreciate it!
